Thirteen years after opening as the "Best New Course in The South," the Rees Jones designed Talamore Golf Resort has grown to 36 holes by adding the Arnold Palmer designed Mid South Club (formerly known as The Plantation). Perennially classified as one of the finest courses in the Pinehurst area. The course was designed by Peter Tufts, great grandson of the founder of Pinehurst Resort. Created in the tradition of Scottish architects of the early 1900's, the contoured fairways wind through longleaf pines and are bordered in a landscape of azaleas, magnolias and dogwoods.
